Hi guys
I have just got my credit report and it says satisfied on my bankruptcy.
They say they will update my file when i am discharged, however i have been discharged. Why is it not showing as a discharge ?
Would really appreciate your advice on this matter
Many thanks

Have you got all 3 credit reports? It could be that the system has not yet been updated, as already asked, when were you discharged?:pB&SC No. 298

Hi there
The report was from Experian,i just thought i would have a look see what was showing on my credit report so was pretty shocked to see what was recorded.
So its a case of how to change their records ??Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -

they "should" then update your records and pass info onto the other 2 agencys (call credit etc)
you would however need to leave it a month or so get your files again & see if they've done what you askedWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

"Satisfied" on the Experian record indicates that it has been discharged if I remember correctly?
Should have your discharge date listed as the "satisfaction date".
If the date isn't correct, or you want an extra record of your discharge recorded on your report then send in a copy of your early discharge notification to Experian with a request for them to update your files with this.
That is what I did.
Means that:
a) The satisfaction date would be corrected if wrong.
b) They can add an extra entry on your report for the order of discharge from the court.
So for example, mine now has this:

Thank you all very much for the assistance
i still cannot see on the uk site where i can see an explanation of their glossary. meaning if it is satisfied does that mean discharge ??Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
Just had a look at the info booklet they send out with the paper report and it doesn't say in there either, just that if the BR order eneds the IS should tell Experian and "You can also send us a copy of your discharge certificate or leter from the Official Receiver and we will update our records".
Doesn't state what the record will say though. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN
