1. All entrants that verify participation in the competition will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and to have agreed to be bound by them.
2. The competition is open to UK residents excluding employees of Promoter and their families, the Promoter's agents or anyone professionally associated with the promotion. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
3. Entrants expressly declare and represent that (i) they submit to English law and jurisdiction in participating in this competition and (ii) they are individuals and not a company or any professional and/or commercial entity.
4. The competition will run from 3rd October 2011 to the 31st October 2011. The closing time and date for receipt of entries is 23:59pm on 31st October 2011.
5. By entering, the winners agree to participate in any publicity or promotional activities as may be reasonably required by the Promoter. Further the Promoter reserves the right to use the names of winners in any publicity.
6. There is one prize that consists of a 5-night break to Marrackech for 2 people. The prize includes 2 return economy flights from a London Airport to Marrackech, return hotel transfers in Morocco, 4 nights’ accommodation at a four star hotel and 1 night accommodation at a mountain refuge base camp during the trekking experience. The trip also includes a two day trek in the Atlas Mountains including meals, a one day excursion to the Ourika Valley including lunch and a 10km white water rafting experience and a half day canyoning experience. The prize also includes Sony Bloggie 8GB Touch Mobile HD Snap Camera. All activities require a reasonable level of fitness and are not suitable for wheelchair users. For all activities participants should be suitably dressed and wearing sturdy, comfortable footwear. Specialist equipment will be provided where necessary. The minimum age to participate in the white water rafting experience is 16 and the canyoning experience is not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.
7. Travel insurance with cover for extreme sports for the duration of the trip is included (subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider). The winner and/or their companion are responsible for meeting any costs related to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical conditions. The prize excludes transport to and from the London airport, visas, vaccinations and all other personal expenses not expressly included in the prize. You both must have a valid passport with minimum 6 month validity beyond the return date, with at least 2 unstamped pages and a visa (if applicable). Travel is available up to the end of September 2012 (subject to availability) but excludes Christmas, New Year and Bank Holiday periods and once booked cannot be amended. No cash alternative is available; prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. At least one of the travelling party must be 18 years of age or older. If you (as the winner) are under the age of 16 years old, you must be accompanied by at least one adult aged 18 years of age or older. Additionally, guests below the age of 16 must provide written parental consent to travel unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Terms and Conditions of the carriers apply.
8. The draw will take place on 1st November 2011. The winner will be contacted by post, telephone or email within 5 working days of the draw. The winner must claim their prize within 10 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or modify the competition, modify these terms and conditions prior to the closing date, vary details of the prize, or substitute a prize of equivalent value should unforeseen circumstances require it. The Promoter is entitled to terminate or modify the competition or to modify these rules prior to the closing date by prior notice.
10. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part. The prize is subject to availability and in the event of circumstances outside of its control the promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar or alternative prize of equal or greater value. The prize must be taken by the winner unless agreed otherwise in writing by the Promoter.
11. The prize will be awarded at random from all valid entrants. The decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. Entries that are incomplete or late or those not in accordance with all the entry instructions are invalid. All submitted entries are the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
13. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
14. All entrants that verify participation will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller (as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998) for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. Please see Promoter’s privacy policy for further details. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
15. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or at any website, including any injury to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the competition. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
