This has already been posted back in August (?) but is still valid. If you purchase Schweppes Abbey Wells water at 45p for 500ml or 750ml sports bottle for 80p you save the cap and hand it in at participating pools for a free swim. They're not able to be used weekends, check your pool for times that apply.

Currently Tesco's are selling the sports bottles at 2 for £1. So effectively two people can swim for £1 or 90p if you buy 500ml bottles. I'm stocking up so we can do family swims after school in the winter (normally pay about £8 for family swim). Caps are valid till 31/01/12. Hope this helps someone. Look at www.SchwimFree.co.uk

In my area it seems to be all the council run pools including the ones with slides and waves etc.

I don't know about other areas but I went on VoucherCloud and there are vouchers for a free swim at a selection of North Somerset pools, you can print it twice per person. Also there are vouchers for 2 for 1 and free junior swim when accompanied by full paying adult. None of the schweppes participating pools are in my immediate area but thanks for the heads up!

I’ve used this loads recently in London but when I went to visit a friend in Portsmouth, we used it at one of the Nuffield Health centres which included use of the Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam room as well as the pool. It’s such as good deal!

NEarest pool to us is 10 miles away but thanks anyway, OP. None of the council pools are included.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Ooooo ... thanks for this I'm definitely gonna try it. I assume the caps have to have the "Sch ...wim cap" logo to qualify?

I got mine in the chiller cabinet (where the sandwiches are) near the front of Asda. They have the offer on the bottle.

I managed to get 2 for £1 earlier ... they didn't have a 'cap' but an umarked drinking spout. However, the label still said the 'cap' was the qualifying bit of the bottle.

Looking forward to a splish, splash, splosh (followed by a bit of a sweat in a sauna/steam room) in a posh hotel :D
