Over the years i've had several brands of tweezers and in the end the grip goes. I've tried cosmopolitan , boots and other brands of tweezers. I am thinking of puchasing the tweezermate ones and at £12.50 was wondering if they are any good.

HI isualive,
By far the best tweezers... My 3 sisters and I all use them, we get the ones with the slanted edge, they are pink... You can send them back to tweezermate in the US to be re-sharpened you just pay the postage, to be honest they don't come back as great as they are when new so best to look after them and keep the little plastic nip protector that comes with them on when not using them0 -
I prefer the Boots own brand, black, slanted ones. Very precise

I agree with above posting. By far the best tweezers available. I believe still come with the "lifetime" guarantee that they wont go blunt and if they EVER should..... you can send them off for re sharpening free of charge.
Ive had the same pair for over 6 year and they are still in tiptop condition!

I've found the tweezerman ones to be very good, but even better are Rubis and cost just slightly more.A lot of the designer ones Bobbi Brown etc are Rubis-made but rebranded, but I just buy the Rubis ones as they are identical and worth every penny.0

Thnx for all your comments. I think i might go for the tweezermate ones, but still not really sure. I need to sort my eyebrows out soon. I recently purchased the tweezermate mirror. Very scarey when everything is magnified.Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0

I bought the mirror when we were in New York last year, it was great till it fell of the bathroom tiles one day and broken into a zillion pieces so please be careful with the suckers!!! M&S have the same one, think it's £7 in there0

Scary is the right word! i've been using it since just before Christmas but I think I'm going to change a lower magnification soon, 12x is waaaay too much!isualive wrote:I recently purchased the tweezermate mirror. Very scarey when everything is magnified.0
