    That's how I felt too.

Had a photo to prove it was shut and the name of the employer who told me it be would be shut all morning. Wasn't needed. All got sorted nice and easy without the hassle I was expecting.

RE proofreading query: Please can you confirm if you enjoyed your Cherry Coke.

Sounds like a proof reader trying to up their stats to me. If you reckon you werent ambiguous on that one then I'd get in touch with the contact for the project and point this out. Proofreaders like that are a drain on resources for the companies and us.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

    Hi Guys

Quick one on TERN. Got my profile issue sorted the other day and there are 2 visits available that I can do but they both have an extensive purcahse allowance on them:

    1. Do you have to spend that amount
    2. How quick are they at refunding?
    3. When do they pay in general? The first post says by cheque at the end of the month - is this still true?

    Thanks!

Been really impressed with them to be honest. They also pay purchase allowances quickly in my experience. I have done a few 3 figure purchases and I had to wait only a week or so. Its BACS payment now as well.

Does gap have a closed shop fee? I accepted one and the store closed the next day for good so can't do it.

I was paid a closed shop fee for a chicken that was under refurbishment a few weeks ago.

Thanks for this. ONe of them is a 3 figure reimbursement and I was a little unsure as I can't afford to wait a month or so to get the money back. If its anythign up to 2 weeks then thats perfect and I'll say yes!

And yes Becky has been fantastic at helping!

If anyone prints loads of stuff out (don't we all!) and they have a HP printer, Tesco have a top deal on some HP cartridges, buy 2 and get 500 points (which can be worth up £20 in deals). The HP 300 and 301 is quite cheap in my opinion. Also good for eBaying, could possibly make a profit. The deal is online and ends this weekend.

PS. Phone calls on GR. This keeps on getting better. Woooohoooo!

do you analyse the data you collect, or just collect it ?... if you dont, then its not really an accurate reflection of your role, but it may reduce your policy. What difference does just consultant make ?

I put consultant or business intelligence consultant eg businesses ask us to consult them and I provide them with intelligence on their operations.

Dont forget to include business usage if you use the car for driving to ms jobs. It was only a fiver or so extra on my policy

thanks whitelabel, that's really helpful and I agree. it does decrease the policy by 10-20% so I think I will do it.
