Hi my remington straighteners have packed up. One of the heating plates has gone cold. But the screw is in such an awkward postition I cant even open them to see whats broken.
I want some straighteners but dont want to pay a fortune, which ones should i get. I would like ghds but they are stupidly priced and i cant afford them. My hair is auburn/blonde and lots of it so really need them right now.
any ideas?:D

I bought some GHD's after much thought following my babyliss 230's breaking ( not heating up) after about 4 years of daily use.
I am really regretting it, I have semi-straight hair and the GHD's do a good job but exactly the same as the Babyliss ones. The GHD's do turn off after 30 mins, I had left the babyliss ones on by mistake a few times.
Babyliss 230 are definately worth looking at, you can get them fairly cheaply on amazon. i would buy them again0 -
I saw a selection of different straighteners (and hairdryers/curling tongs) for half price or less in Sainsburys at lunchtime today. There were definately Remmington & Babyliss ones.0

Check in local Tesco too. Picked up a good pair of remingtons for £3 the other week. Same as my other ones that I paid £40 for. They also has some other cheaper brands going for around the £3 mark too.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

I already ordered the babyliss 230 ones from amazon for £18 free delivery. should be here tomorrow. ordered thurs night. Im sending the remington ones back to the manufacturer to report them faulty. they are over 12 months old but they still need to know they blew up in my hand and could have injured me.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230
