Hi all. I am long time lurker...blablabla.... thought it was about time I posting something that may be of value to some people. Everyone always seams to beat me to it!
During lunch break today, was looking around for those bargains. Found this deal at the London area of KGB Deals- £189 voucher for bespoke ring!.
I used Hot Pink to get a ring made for my wife to be after being recommend to them by a friend and after doing a shed load of research. They are a great 'mom and pop' company, I would definitely recommend them after my experience. I also got my wedding band made by them. Don't see why she should be the only one with bespoke ring! These guys are a traditional jewellers. They work out of some swanky office near old street. They don’t hold any real stock and only make bespoke rings, this basically means you pay the cost of building a ring not some high street RRP.
They normally charge £189 for a consultation which is rebated if you buy a ring (which I am pretty sure most people do as there ring design software is extremely impressive). During my session I asked my ring design chap why the price was so high, he basically said it was a way of only getting serious customers in which is fair enough.
I know this deal is for a very specific set of people i.e. those who live in London and are thinking about popping the big question, but it is a great way to save a lot of window shopping and to avoid the normal £189 charge which I know nearly put me off. The voucher is valid until July 2012.

Been on their website and there is no mention of costs. I would suspect that you would need to put a great deal more money to get anything at all and think the above poster may well be connected with them and trying to get the deal more publicity.0

Lol - I am not connected to company - I just had a good experience with them, hence happy to recommend them on. I know this is a bit different to the normal tesco misprice deal.
In reply to your comment; one the main reasons I decided to go with Hot Pink in the first place after much looking around is that they (unlike most jewellers in fact!) are very explicit with their costs.
Simply put, go the the hot pink website (got to be a joke in there somewhere.....) and click on costs. You can then download any one of the four quotes pdfs they have.
No offence mate, don't think you really went to the website.0
