Spill the beans ... what's the most embarrassing MoneySaving thing you do?

I use supermarket plastic bags as bin bags too. I usually shop using my own homemade bags, but when I'm running out of plastic ones I 'forget' to take them with me :rotfl:
My DH prefers to use the single blade BIC razors - I use an epilady. His reaction to that is :eek:
My DH is also (mainly) bald, so I cut his hair using our own Wahl clippers (other makes are available )

I use an epilady, they are great, no razor costs or shaving cream/gel or waxing costs. Bought OH a beard trimmer last week he's always fairly stubbly but normally shaves it off every couple of weeks so it doesn't get too long but a beard trimmer at £20 means no more razor blades and he can keep it a smart length!

I do it all the time. Admittedly the first few times I had to have a large hankie with me to mop up the tears, but now I don't feel it at all. I do my upper lip too - saves on bleaching.

I check discarded Tesco receipts to see if the clubcard points have been added, and if not, I get them added to my clubcard.
I use my partner's bath water after her, then we save it in buckets to flush the toilet.
I pick up pieces of wood from hedge bottoms and road sides for the stove.

..and I paint the house with chuck out paint.
and I ride a MZ motorbike, as they can be fixed at home and they can do over 70 mpg.

Oh I thought it was only me who did the T*sco thing! Glad there is another - took me a while to work out why I get offers for things I dont eat/use

I always get into bath first - thats the rule . Think if we where on a meter I would be tempted to flush the loo with bath water too

We also chop up any old wooden furniture/window frames etc - we are still burning frames,kitchen cupboards etc and doors we took out of this house we moved into 20 years ago :rotfl:Very windy here over last couple of days so a walk along the lanes always means there are a couple of large branches to bring home - can be a competition sometimes!

Sounds like a good method!

I've had a good think about my most embarrassing MS habits.

I do cut up kitchen roll into 8 pieces (I use one piece to clean the cat's dishes or wash fruit/veg).One piece is too big.A roll lasts for ages.I prefer to use a tea towel for spillages etc.

I re-use dental floss until it gets too stringy.:cool:
