Not totally a toy but got some of the learning magnets today - SEL said £3.50 for both the reception and Yr 1/2 packs

I had already got the reception pack for 50p and wanted the Yr1/2 pack for dd to add to it - and would have 'happily' paid the £3.50

Took it to the self scan (out of interest) and it was scanning at 2p :j so went back and got the only other remaining one and a reception pack - which scanned at 50p

Then went to the till - and she put them through - she then said 'oh that is 2p - how much did the sticker say?' I played it down and just said 'Oh I can't remember' to which she said'we aren't suppossed to be selling what goes through at this price,' I was about to argue the toss (I actually did really want them, I wasn't getting them just cos they were 2p) when she just said 'but I haven't been told that, leave it' :j

So beware - if you see anything that good - it may be worth using the self scan

I was all ready to have a yelling session in there (don't mess with a pregnant women :rotfl:) but thank goodness for Saturday queues - I don't think she could be done with the hassle

saw 6 of the Moon Dough Ocean in N3wtonabb3y store today, didn't take any as we have enough but was tempted. Still scanning at £2 HTH

I picked up two of these in the dalmarnock store today! They were on the aisle where the Halloween stuff is and the SEL was £2.25! There were a couple left on the shelf

Was round the toys and found a lone 'A fairy secret' Barbie doll on her own with some other random toys. It said £17.97 (i think) and 'NEW' on the ticket but we got it scanned and it scanned at £1.80! http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.210-2147.aspx

Will get barcode later if anyone needs it, it's hiding in the boot:)

Lady in banbury store just beat me to it tonight. two barbies in the trolley. think it was someone from here as she was going through the littlest pet shop toys as well. didnt say anything just incase she was not part of " the gang" lol
