with the price match, do i need to buy only one bottle, or can i have 2-3 in the same transaction?
it would save me emails and receipts.
    Thanks

the glayva voucher actually states "one per person per day". now to me, i can put 6 through in the same transaction - as long as i have 5 other people with me. it doesnt say "one per transaction". so it depends how brave you are, if your going alone. i have been in twice now and bought 2 in each transaction. the checkout girls havn't even read my voucher. however in the past i have had trouts that have pulled me up on it and i wasnt brave enough to argue the "its not per transaction" rule. so i would either take someone with you and be prepared to argue (if your unlucky) or head to a young, hungover looking person who looks like they cant be bothered being there! i find they let anything through ;). also i make sure i say "can i use one of those for each bottle" as i hand the vouchers, so they assume i've read the rules and what im doing is legitimate :)

I got 2 bottles on Saturday and used 2 coupons but Mrs Baker was with me so, if challenged, I was all ready to say we were using 1 each. As it happened, the young woman on the checkout was an absolute delight and cheerfully scanned them both, along with 2 Philadelphia coupons.

    So... is it nice?

Edit: Ha, just read the 4th post.
"I have been drinking both for around £40 years and Drambuie has the edge, but it got so expensive, that I had to resort to Glava... If you haven't tasted either, the Glava makes a nice present."

I guess the answer is no then if you taste it realise it will make a nice present.:D

Yes it is nice :) Straight over a lot or ice or straight warmed in your hand, its very like Ron Miel (Honey Rum from the Canaries) and can also be mixed with , say Fanta Exotic to taste like a breezer but is (imho) best straight.

Also great (as is Drambuie) as a medicinal drink (warmed -30secs in the micro) late at night in bed if you have a sore throat. :rotfl:

No doubt someone will be along soon to say its rank :D but for £6 (or even maybe £3) its a class drink.
I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony  :j :D:)
  • Thanks for this OP I also got a £3 till spit a while ago so used both plus pricechecker and got a christmas present for 3.00.

yes I do that too, it's so embarrassing if they challenge the voucher. It happened once in Sainsbury's, mind you that was with a young suprvisor and and older SA so the age theory doesn't always work.....
