Are Fast-Track mortgages still available?

Hello,
I have arranged a mortgage with Santander in April, the vendor then notified me in June that they can not sell before 28th November without losing a lot of money. The mortgage offer is due to expire before the transfer date of 28th November because the valuation survey expires on 12th November (I have extended the product to February). I have asked for the survey to be extended or run done but they say this not possible until 18 days before the valuation survey expires.
I can move into the property on a Licence of Occupancy anytime now but this will commit me to buying the house which may not be possible if the new valuation comes back too low, therefore I need a solid mortgage in place before signing anything and moving in.
I could get another mortgage but I believed this would be no faster than waiting unless I could get a fast track mortgage.
Are fast track mortgages still available and if so from who?
Any other advise gratefully received.
Many Thanks

Abbey are one of the better lenders for Fast Track actually. There is nothing to stop you submitting a new application with them, although this does seem a little silly on their part. You should maybe try and speak to someone higher and explain that you need a new offer now to be able to exchange contracts (even if this may be a little fib)
Other than that, if you have a decent deposit Halifax are pretty quick right now ( I've had a few offers out in under a week with them recently)
If I were you I'd press Santander harder though, they should at least try and keep your business IMO!I am a Mortgage Adviser -You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
