Converting Camcorder Video Tapes to DVD's

I want to convert some old Camcorder Tapes into DVD's that we can watch on our TV.

So far I've only heard of Boots who do this at a cost of £19.99 per tape! Quite pricy considering I have about 30+ tapes from a lot of years.

Does anyone know of somewhere I could go to, or maybe send the tapes off to?

Thanks in advance.

why not buy a dvd recorder and do it yourself?

you could either buy one and hook it up to a vhs player.

or buy a combo unit vhs/dvd recorder.

    or super combo vhs/dvd/hard disk

all off those are less than £600, and you get to keep the unit.

Or if you have a PC and DVD writer, you could buy a pinnacle dazzle device.

If any of the tapes are DV, make sure you get something with a firewire/ilink input for the best quality.
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?
