Not happy with Argos. Bought a toy last week, birthday present for niece, she already has it so I said don't worry take it back and get something else. I paid £29.99 for it but lost reciept. They only offered me £22.00 back saying that's what it was a few months ago so that's all your getting even tho it is still £29.99. Note to self don't lose receipts for presents.

If you paid by card, just show them a statement, you dont need to have a receipt to prove purchase. Just proof of purchase. as far as I am aware.
