Suits at asda for £19?

Hello!

Had to dash this morning and missed the end of LK Today. The fashion segment had a man's suit for £19.

Can anyone tell me where it was from?

It was from Asda, it was in the Daily Mirror as well with a £6 shirt and tie.

ASDA are offering a complete men's suit (in black) from their 'George' range at £19.99 until Sunday. You buy the jacket and get the trousers free. Various sizes, short medium & long. Washable as well !!

It is from Asda. The £19 is a limited offer until Sunday. The trousers come free when buying the jacket. After Sunday the trousers will be £6.

I'm not so sure it comes with the shirt and tie - I think that was just an illustration of what you could buy cheaply to go with it.

It is machine washable. However, it is 100% polyester and, from a review in the Daily Telegraph, looks like a cheap suit. Probably good idea if trying to look smart in a rough tough environment eg building site/chemical site manager. You wouldn't want to get married in it though, more of a chav goes to court look!

Jeremy Vine did a "test drive" of this suit on his programme today, alongside a tailor wearing a £3,000 suit! The tailor was quite positive about the suit with some reservations about the material and the cut, but hey it is only £19! Jeremy seemed quite impressed by the feel of the suit.

It is from George at Asda.

caught a bit of this this morning, he mentioned the suit was a little on the warm side, but with studio lighting id expect it to be warm regardless.
The suit was indeed from asda, but as its actually a "george" product local george stores may carry a bigger range than asda.
