Instead of feeling humiliated, give yourself a great big pat on the back for sorting out all this and doing what you have done. Its not easy at the best of times and yet..........you have done it. Despite feeling like you do.
All this shows your inner strength and resolve to sort out your debts and not bury your head.

Sending you this as I think you need one :grouphug: and also this because you deserve a great big :j WELL DONE.

a big well done for all of your achievements so far:T :T you are doing great! a friend of mine is really skint at the moment (arent we all! ) and she has set herself a mission of back to basics with the nappies as she had a stack of old towels in the airing cupboard she cut them up and made nappies/wipes and now uses them daily and puts what she would of spent (£6 ish a week on nappies and £2 on wipes)£8 in a jar religousely every week she now nearlly has £200 in her jar  and has only been doing this for 6 months or so and next week will be able to clear her next catalogue :T im not suggesting that you do this but i was just using her as an example of what can be done sometimes with a little effort because all the small changes that you can make to your outgoings really do add up over time and you have the added satisfaction of that feeling yayyyy i did that  keep chipping away at your outgoings and this should free up some extra cash... keep up the good work!! you can do it...angchris

    this bit alarms me hun

Quick, cant you fix your mortgage and bring the cots down? more interest rate rises due for feb too.

My mortgage has gone up 150 quid a month since coming off my fixed( waiting to sell up so I cant fix again) so with seeing a broker, you might well do better out of this. If poss do it before you go on a DMP!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

When the first start to respond to you, some of them might not be too pleasant. Remember though - don't let them get to you. You are paying all that you can afford, don't let them try to get you to pay more than you can. You are taking responsibility for your debt, not an easy thing to do, don't let them screw with your head!
