Had a good laugh at the thought of your DH routing about in paper bins wingo!

Electricity was off here for well over an hour today - just at lunch time! Back on now obviously. Neighbours are getting new windows in so there was a bit of panic next door as the joiner was using electrical equipment.
Been chasing my blu-ray player again - guy says he is trying to get it away today. Will believe that when I see it. Waterstones got in touch about sending me the wrong book and say to keeep it and they will send me the right one too so result there.

Hope you are all ok,I got my money back from my disney 3 movie collection set,dad spent it and gave me £20 so I went off to lunch happy.
Had lamb Stew today and it was lovely and had bread alongside it,then shopped at Marks&Spencers Outlet and got 3 meals for £6.

Not out this evening so staying in and watching the last part of The Jury.

Hurrah Friday's shift over. Day off tomorrow. Mother in Laws birthday tomorrow so will have to pop round with her present. I am looking forward to catching up on some comps tonight, been a bit slack this week as various things going on. Hope everyone has a peaceful and relaxing Friday

Hi all,

so sorry for leaving it for so long again, its been a hard tme. xx

Just to let you know, my mum is now halfway through her radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment.

Not long to go now but its taking its toll saying that, mum has had and still has, the most amazing, incredible, positive outlook, is feeling quite poorly but she's not letting her get it down.


I'm in awe of my mum. The most amazing person I think I'll ever know.

Awww lovely post Jenni (if you get what I mean. not about your mum having cancer though) Her positive outlook will help no end. Hope it all goes ok for her. My nan has got breast cancer but has refused the op she was offered, opting instead for the tablets.

Just done 28 pages of comps so thats me caught up a bit and going to bed now. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Always quiet on the email front at weekends...but Anchor ends tomorrow....wishing all MSEr's tons of luck for the cash prizes. I really hope we see some of us posting in IWIWIW before the end of the month for the cash prizes

Morning all,

Looks like its going to be quite a nice day here today again. Postman just brought our second bottle of Bacardi, at least this one had a bit more packaging around it. Don't know how the other one made it in one piece. Starting to look like the Baileys sample isn't coming - was looking forward to trying that.

Love to your mum Jenni and your nan Becks - hope all goes well for them both.
