Update

Hi

just wanted to say hello again. I was off work first week in Jan so was here a bit more, but don't want to lose my motivation.

so far i've been doing the diary everday (have spent £748.44 so far - haven't worked out how yet, but it's all written down). It really adds up:eek:

I have been really restrained - doing well on the food shopping. Spending vouchers etc. Had a go at the lay betting and made about £50, but not sure how to make more, it gets a bit complicated - . Joined quidco, so am waiting for money from there. Also taken on some extra work , although this means less time and still haven't put anything on ebay (really not enough hours in the day!). Unfortunaltely not been able to pay off much of the credit cards, but feel much more in control.

Oh and applied for a low interest credit card , plan now to get low apr for LOB rather than 0% as they don't go on forever and end up confusing me.

Thanks for all your posts, they really are helpful

Well done with the spending diary. Are you following Tondella's DFW the Flylady way?

Hi thanks for your replies, I managed to put some stuff on ebay today - hoping to make about £50. Will have to look into this flylady thing too. Thanks for the tip.
