Adrift-anyone worked out the ending?

Has anyone seen the film "ADRIFT" and worked out the ending?
saw it last night and still scratching my head!!..............Any ideas??
Did they die or not??

ummmmm...yes. He got eaten by a shark and she drowned herself so she wouldnt be eaten by a shark.

Thats how Open Water ended. Havn't seen Adrift so maybe it ends the same way?

Adrift is being advertised outside the UK as Open Water 2, it has a diff name over here coz every1 hated Open Water1!!

No, it's not the same film - they are completely different (by that I mean films, not in terms of storyline!)

In answer to your question OP, I saw Adrift at the cinema and was also confused! Really rubbish ending. But basically, I think only the baby survives and that something mysterious happens to the mum and that [EMAIL="w@nker"]w@nker[/EMAIL] of a bloke she saves....? Not at all clear. But apparently...

"Adrift closes in such a way that there is, I'm afraid, every chance that a sequal might surface in a cinema (or more likely a video store) near you"

I know I was wondering the same about the ending ~ I think they died because when the other boat sailed closer to their boat there was noone on deck, but my hubby says maybe they just couldn't be seen, he thinks they made it back alive, passed out and then the baby woke them up... hmmmm I'm just not sure, very irritating not knowing!
