Had this in an email today. and some here may want to try their luck.
Equazen (makers of the Eye-Q fish oil supplements used in our school projects) are giving away Eye-Q to the first 5,000 people who complete the Food for the Brain child questionnaire. So, to complete the questionnaire and get some tailored straightforward advice on simple changes you could make to improve your child's performance and receive some free Eye-Q visit
this link www.foodforthebrain.org doesn't work for me but
the Child Questionaire is here but without any mention of free Equazen, May be interesting though and if your lucky you may find Equazen send you some freebie omega 3.

not very user friendly website.
completed the questionnaire, gave u a report, at the bottom of the report u r asked to register for the free supplement (if u r among the first 5000). after u registered, need to log in (frequently being rejected), then nowhere in sight mentioned the free thing, very confusing and difficult website, fed up and gave up.0 -
Before putting too much faith and enthusiasm into this freebie, have a look at the Guardian's Bad Science column that explains the backgound to Equazen's marketing "trials", and decide whether you want to be a part.0

I completed the Qaire then at the bottom of the report it said :
"Equazen are offering a free pack of Eye Q, worth £7.99, to the first 5,000 people who complete this questionnaire. To register for your free pack please Click here and complete the online registration form. Eye Q is the Essential Fatty Acid supplement that was used for the Food for the Brain Schools Campaign."
but when i registered it says "This subscription/offer is no longer valid. You can sign up for our eq magazine "i registered and tried to log in but it wont let me !

We have always to apply common sense to any research we may read. That applies to all pharmaceutical research as well.
It may well be that the findings of the current projects will be flawed but if those participating in those studies are convinced there is merit in increasing the amount of oily fish consumed then it is more likely that better studies will be performed later.
If nothing is done we never move forward.
this link is still mentioning the free omega and I doubt 5000 people have completed the form since the 10th. but maybe the item on 5th January, ITV's Tonight with Trevor Macdonald brought a lot to the site.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program
