Transferring (Porting) a Woolwich Mortgage

Ive had a lot of trouble getting any correct mortgage information on the phone to Barclays/Woolwich.
Basically if you get through to the call center in Mumbai then any information you are given may well be incorrect. Couple this with the fact that in branch they dont seem to be on the ball either. Their system only shows your current mortgage balance and nothing else. No overpayments, nothing. Its very dificult to get control of your mortgage if you dont know who to get correct info from.0 -
Many thanks for your replies, it would be nice to hear from anyone who has managed to port their Woolwich/Barclays mortgage successfully (if indeed their is anyone ???My question may be simple...but please don't assume that I am
