Hi Jane, Pretty sure they will put you onto their standard tariff which is un-competative for most users. If I were you I would go onto ukpower which is one of the best comparison webb sites and put in your usage to get the best deals. Then go and try to get cash-back from another source.0

Pretty sure you'll go onto the standar tariff, but you can request a change as soon as the current deal ends. If you don't want to switch providers, npower's website lets you compare your current tariff with npower's own current range of tariffs.
If you're dual-fual with npower, you get a £100 anniversary discount - don't forget to factor this in when comparing tariffs.0 -
You go on Go Save tariff0

Before my npower Sign On Line 19 (SOL19) was due to expire I received an email advising that my tariff would change to the standard tariff – Go Save.
A little homework with some comparison websites plus npower’s own site showed that SOL23 was cheaper for me than Go Save.
However, careful reading of the Npower Additional Terms for the SOL23 Offer included the phrase, “In order to take up and remain on our Sign Online 23 offer you must: be a new customer of ours (or any other npower group company) unless we permit otherwise ..............”
At first glance this gives the impression that SOL23 is only available to new customers and it may not occur to people to enquire as to the meaning of the phrase, ”unless we permit otherwise”.
Curious as to what the term “unless we permit otherwise” might entail I enquired if it was possible to be switched to SOL23 rather than Go Save. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the following, “Thanks for letting us know that you’d like to change onto our Sign Online 23 tariff (SOL23) and to ask how to go about this. I'm sorry that our website says this is only for new customers and for the confusion that this has caused. I’d like to reassure you that we’ll change any customer to SOL23 if they request it”.
I have since been switched to SOL23. (Note that this has now been superseded by SOL24.)
