I have created 2 virtual accounts since the last mailing and each has about 1000 points on, will I get separate statements?

I assume this is the code I used on my delivery on Monday, for 1,000 points on a £50 shop.

As with most people, the code was accepted on placement of the order, but rejected when the order was delivered.

I emailed Tesco about a couple of issues connected with that order, and mentioned the code and how irritating it was that it had been rejected. I asked them to restore my faith in Tesco's reliability, and manually add the points to my account.

I got an email today saying that's what they were doing.

I have read elsewhere that it is a known "fault" with this code, and if people email or call, the points will be added manually.

    Worked with me, anyway :D

I've had the same as Hootie, I emailed about the missing points and was told there had been a fault and they'd be added in time for the August mailing.

Jus - yes you should get separate statements, you'll get a statement each quarter for each card as long as you have at least 150 points (I think) and haven't asked for any to be combined.

I find this thread very difficult to find specific codes in, so I'll ask here. I've never bought from Tesco online but plan to tonight. What codes, or what are the best codes that I can use as a first time buyer? I'll spend around £50 or so. I've seen a £15 off £50+ knocking about, can I use that for example? Is it a first time buyer code?

Also, if I buy BOGOFs, I've read they don't actually calculate your total cost at the checkout properly, you only see what you're charged on the slip the delivery driver brings. Is that true? If so, that's rubbish! I have a specific budget to spend and don't want to sit there working out everything on a calculator.

    Firstly welcome aboard!

Your right there is a £15 off voucher kicking about - You can use that no problem.

Regards to the budget - I always take in to account BOGOF's as these do not show. I think this is good as I actually save money each and every month. You can work it out as you go if you really need too, just take a note of the BOGOF etc then take that off total bill.

    Hope that helps

    Same here!
e-mailed Tesco customer service to complain. If it was meant for first tme users then that's fine but I don't think it's fair of them to accept the code at the online check out then reject it without explanation on the delivery receipt. I would have upped the order and used the other code if I'd known, very annoying.

I'm never bloody doing that again. I've spent almost 2 hours on my first order, I go to checkout, see my address is wrong so change it...and hey presto, my entire basket is empty! Pressing back etc doesn't get back all the items, only a few, and it's a mess. What an absolutel f*** up of a website! I'm so annoyed!!

it was for first time orders as mentioned when it was posted in the NO-CHAT code forum with a way to get round it.

emeraldbugle with so many posts to your name it seems funny you would ask the same question in different threads.
why is there so much chat in the POST CODES NO-CHAT THREAD when we have a chat thread here ?

It also says in the POST CODES NO-CHAT THREAD to post if it doesn't work. Which is what I did, I then posted in the CHAT thread to discuss why it didn't work

Anyway, I've phoned clubcard and they are going to add the points manually :T
