Thank you, I'll give it a try...I'm fairly new to the Tesco vouchers and discounts but am trying to save as many points as I can. Did not know you could 'bank' codes.Grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"0

I am that Cop who has been convicted of 'going equipped to cheat' - I am gutted but shows how cheap Tesco are as they would rather employ a flawed system than staff to make sure the till worked properly!!! Only the scanty details are out so far. There is so much to this and of course the way I was/have been treated by my own colleagues!! Use and abuse the self service tills but make sure you keep a record of what you are doing as I failed to do that and it cost me. Good luck x0

How do we know you are 'that cop'? You could be the unfriendly version of TescoEmployee setting up under a newbie name.....
BTW none of us here would condone putting blank paper in the coupon-slots, if that's what 'you' were doing? Also this is probably the wrong thread for this discussion.....PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That's a bit harsh - most (not all) on here are here just to talk about how they get round loopholes and the like to obtain more points. I don't think putting blank slips of paper in is beyond some on here (and I'm not having a go - if you want to do it, do it - just be prepared to be caught out).******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

Seriously? You're defending putting blank paper in coupon-slots? It's so dodgy it's like asking to get caught, one day an SA will check...
I use loads of coupons instore, points and money-off, but putting blank paper in coupon-slots is obviously a no-no (although I use cashiers not self-scan anyway).
I am kind of surprised he was prosecuted - I suppose it was because he was a copper - otherwise why not save the taxpayers' money and just ban him from the store and chuck him off the ccard scheme?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No, I'm not defending it, I just said I don't think it's beyond some on here, the lengths some people seem to go to get extra points. Yes it's dodgy, that was my point. I just thought that given most people on this and other tesco points threads give their lives over to get that extra point, you were rather harsh.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

Can any one let me know where the above code came from or
what I should do.
The following was posted by almond.
"BUY A TESCO INTERNET PHONE REGISTER IT USING THE CODE BAB216
TOP IT UP WITH £10 AND GET 1000 CLUBCARD POINTS".
I did this and input code no. and £10.00 payment a week ago.
The phone did not work and 5 days later on Tesco advice I
cleared details and reinstalled. Upon reinstallation code was
in situ for £5.oo voucher but BAB216 and the £10.00 was missing.
I Paid £10.00 a second time but there was no where to input Code.
So I have not got points. CST told me to wait a week and phone again. What is the procedure to try and get the points? Do I need to know the source of the code?
I don't want to miss out on 1000 points but dont want to cause a problem with Mr T.
Advice would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi, this bab216 code came from a page in the Baby & Toddler clubcard mailing, full page spread........The 1000 points was offered if you topped up your internet phone account with £10 or more only on first registration before 31st March 07. I tore the page out when I registered mine as proof of offer in case points were not allocated.0 -

My original registration was before end of March. Will probably contact Tesco tomorrow to see if they will give me points or if not I may ask for a refund my £10.00. My concern is that I got the code from this site not a mailing.
