Have received e-mail saying:
"Your $1,000 WalMart Card is shipping today.
-Use it at any WalmartŽ location
-Works the same as cash, never expires!
-Get the latest games, electronics, home accessories, and more
Confirm shipping information ASAP:"

There is no my name but just request to confirm my address.
I hope they will not send me anything if I do not confirm it??

Delete it and NEVER click on anything in these types of emails :eek:

I never open suspicious emails without checking the properties first

This is quite obviously spam. This is unlikely to be your last. Just delete delete delete!!!

My fave since starting to comp is the email from the FBI telling me I was owed $850000 from the us lotto!

This is the risk we take when comping... Do you know how to recognise whether or not the competition is genuine??

MSE members are usually quite good at spotting the "dodgy" comps & posting warnings but it's not an exact science.It's a risk but mitigated by using a dedicated comping email/phone number.

I've got e-mail especially for comps, freebees etc but give them my mobile number. I only have one mobile so I do not have a choice. I do not give them my home phone number.
