How do I get a pricematch??? (John Lewis)

I am looking to buy a Plasma telly.I have identified the one I want at Sound and Vision in Bolton via there website.However Bolton is a two hour drive.I am going to Sheffield on Friday and I know they have a John Lewis.The same telly there is a hundred pound dearer but I have been told they pricematch.What do I need to do to get them to match the S&V price??

I actually meant did I need to take some kind of proof in of the lower price.Appreciate the link but I had already read that before posting.Good of you to post it though.

Remember, they will only price match locally.

No. They will price match nationally but only to geographical stores, not to web only prices.

The shop must also have the item in stock the the price must be the marked price on the item in the shop. Sound and vision tend to have good stock levels but they dont have any of the panasonic th42px60-ped in if that is what you want.

the only problem I can envisage is that Farnworht isnt really local to the john Lewis you will be visiting. I have used sound and vision and empire direct who also have a store or 2 in bolton and been sucessfull as I was in the LJ store at the trafford centre or Cheadle.

Definitely not a problem. They will price match nationaly.

Where have you found to be the cheapest? I have recently got them to PM Empire Direct on a Sony Bravia. I contacted the Undersales department direct. Give them the model and cheapest price (of a bricks and mortar store) and they will make the enquiries themselves. The item must be in stock, ticketed at that price and available to take.
