Selling my endowment

The endowment is worth about £22000 and I've decided to cash it in or sell it, use the cash to pay off some of my mortgage and switch to a repayment method.
My question is, how do I find a company to buy it, or at least get a valuation? I've found lots on the Internet but does anyone have any experience with them?
Thank you!

Is it a "with profits" type or "unit linked" ?.... and is the £22k a confirmed surrender value from the provider ?0

Hi. It's unit linked. The valuation is from Scottish Widows themselves.0

Have I sent everyone to sleep:rotfl:
I've decided to surrender it via the provider rather than involve a third party, that's if there's anything left after the latest euro turmoil!0 -
If it's unit linked then you won't be able to find anyone to buy it I'm afraid - if you want the cash now, then surrender to the insurer will be the only way to get it.0
