Just wanted to celebrate a big milestone with you guys. Me and my OH get paid on Friday, this will be the first time in our adult lives that before being paid, we have absolutely no insecure debt, this month we managed to make the final payments on my overdraft, and my partners overdraft/credit card.
Its been one hell of a stressful year, which has included working 2 jobs for about 4 months and saying no to buying things that are not essential, plus not doing things that all of our friends are. I tell you what it really makes you realise who your friends are when you don't have money to do all the expensive things others are.
Coincidentally, it is one year on Saturday since we got the keys for our first house. Thank you everyone for all your help, this website has really made us learn to live within our means and we are so glad we gained this attitude early on.

I really hope that all those people who don't think they can do it will read your post and realise that they CAN do it."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0
