Really basic question about bank charges

Hello all
Today I got a proper look at my OH's bank statement for the first time. Among the interesting revelations is that he is charged 35p for a direct debit, 25p for a Maestro payment and 20p to receive a credit. These are standard charges - the account isn't even overdrawn.
Can he reclaim these kind of charges? Or just the charges for being overdrawn past his limit?
Thanks for your advice.

It's a business account with HSBC. He doesn't actually have a business, he's a freelance worker.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

i really dont know about business a/c but they are not normally free so i would think these charges are normal and so would not be reclaimable

HI Clapton
Thanks for the reply, I think you are right. As for why he has this account, well it's just part of a huge denial on his part. However he has recently opened a basic bank account so I am going to make him transfer all the payments across and stop using this expensive one.
