Argh Mortgages

Hi people,
Ok I have a accepted offer on a property for 87500k a deposit of 15000k and a income of 30k.
I am looking at at the mortgage products rang London & Country, ING and paying a visit to my bank tomorrow so as to see whats out there.
But to be honest I am a bit bidazzled with all the mortgage options out there. I read the free book from MSE and I have done my research, I have a rudimentary understanding of all the aspects yet am struggling to decide on a product that is suitable.
I am ok with a variable rate and not adverse to any risk and my mortgage will be fairly easy to pay off and I would like to pay extra into it.
Can any one point me in the right direction here?! Im not expecting someone to tell me what exact mortgage just some ideas on what types would suit me given the current economic climate - even through no one can predict the future.
Thanks in advance :T

I wouldn't bother going into the bank - if you just want to know what they offer have a look at their website and save yourself the hardsell they'll give you0
