Clinique or No7 and value for money

Which do you think is the most value for money? I love the new Clinique tinted moisturiser but its a very small bottle for 21 pounds whereas the No7 one is 12 for a tube double the size. I need new make up and am trying to be more MSE.

Thank you for your reply. I feel Clinique looks better on but I'm trying to justify the cost. I do cut back in other areas though and spend next to nothing on my hair these days so I reckon I can justify the Clinique, I only use three of their make up items and I love their cream cleanser which is 15 pounds a tube but my friend bought me some last Xmas and it ran out in July so it does last. I use a cheaper moisturiser that suits me but no other cleanser seems as good.
  • I use the No7 tinted moisturiser, but that's because I've never been able to bring myself to spend even more money on brands such as Clinique
I need to make a new list for 2014
think of something to put on it!:rotfl:
Try harder for 2014 as I never managed it in 2012 or 2013

I like Clinique's mascara but find that it doesn't last very long before drying up, and last week bought a Clinique lipstick for the first time. It was a 'Butter Shine' lipstick and i love the colour but once it's on it's the same consistency as lip gloss and lasts about as long! One drink and it's all come off. I'm very disappointed with this as it cost £16 or £17, and if you twist it all the way up there's actually very little there so i can't see it lasting very long.

I was actually going to buy a No7 lipstick instead but decided on Clinique because i thought it would last longer!

I think there are other brands out there which are better value for money to be honest. I think No7 is extremely over priced for what it is. How about trying Maybelline or L'oreal. Personally for premium brands I like Estee Lauder and Chanel.

I defiantly agree with this:) I would add Revlon in as one to try.

I think No7 is quite reasonably priced with the £5 vouchers they are always giving out. I agree about the Clinique lipstick. I have the long lasting one but it does soon wear off. No7 do a sheer temptation lipstick which is very similar to the Clinique buttershine one, it doesn't last long on your lips but its cheaper than the buttershine.

Mascara and foundation Clinique. But I do love No7 eyeshadows, nice colours that stay put and seem to last longer than other brands.
