Pork chops in my local looked absolutely lovely - hope they taste as good as they look.
Got the red onions and some leeks, would have got more chops (only 1 pack of 4 chops), but got some pork in the freezer already and pork is a regualar Lidl offer.

just a word of warning about the red onions, last twice I bought a bag of them in Lidl, I ended up throwing half of them out due to them rotting. It wont stop me buying them again bit I just thought I would mention it.

With onions I peel dice and bung in triple bags in the freezer ready for use when I need them I only buy them when they're on the offer or reduced anyway

You don't have to blanch or cook onion before freezing.
    Also peppers and herbs.

I did a load yesterday. Also made red onion jam from River Cottage recipe with Lidl cheapie red onions .
