Prepaid cards

Hi

I think I know the answer to this but wanted to get your views, before I do anything.

I want to get a prepaid card so I can basically use it for food shopping and other bits instead of carrying cash. I figure I won't be able to spend more than I should if I only have a certain amount on the card.

1) As an undischarged BR is this allowed? Would I need to declare this to the OR/Card company?

2) I've seen lots about the CashPlus, any views on this?

3) I've heard these cards can help rebuild credit, but I assume this has no effect as I am BR anyway:)

    2) I've seen lots about the CashPlus, any views on this? I have this one although I don`t actually use it now, but it is as good as any on the market.

    Hope this helps?

    Excellent, thanks Dojoman:)

I think for the next year I'm always gonna be cautious about applying for anything, will have it in the back of my mind thinking I'm doing something wrong.
