Been looking for a slow cooker but no Wilko's near me & the cheapest other one I could find was from T's @ £9

I'd say that 1.5L was too small, only useful for a single person/single meal. Just IMO. Better to use a 3.5L and freeze the rest, very MSE ;-)0

Yes - I saw these wilko ones in store the other day and they are teensy - very much a 1 person thing (or maybe 2 if you made a stew or something & did rice/potatoes separately).

Better to search charity shops and car boots etc for the old beige Tower slow cookers. The cheapest to run by far and almost indestructible, mine is over 30 years old and still going strong , modern ones are too high powered in my opinion .0
