Hi
I have an oily T-Zone and use a small amount of this under my foundation which lasts me through most of the day. Looks small and expensive however I have been using mine since June so it does last ages.
It's hard to recommend a foundation as there are so many around. The most fun thing to do though would be visit to department stores/boots etc that have beauty counters. Pick a brand in each department store and ask them for help.
Once they have covered you in stuff, ask if you can take a sample of the foundation to try it for a few days before you buy a full size.
Pop into the loo on your way out the door, remove make-up with a face wipe and repeat in the next shop;).0 -
I was going to recommend the Clinique pore refiner too. I use this under just about any foundation for a matt look. It's a bit expensive, but works and you can then buy a cheaper foundation (or use it on it's own).
It's only a game

have you tried mineral foundation? Great for oily skin (doesn't always suit dry skin as it shows up any dehydrated areas) and all natural and not tested on animals. There are lots of brands but I have found this one is quite good as it gives better coverage than many others:
http://www.elementalbeauty.co.uk/about-elemental-beauty. They will also custom make a shade for you if you need it, although they do quite a good range anyway and you can order samples to try it (my samples have lasted ages so I've not ordered a full size one yet!)0 -
Hiya!! I have skin like an oil slick within a few hrs of washing and putting on makeup, doesn't seem to matter what i use and I must've tried every product on the market (foundations, creams, oil free etc etc etc expensive or not) and I have a couple of suggestions, if you have a lasenza near you, or on ebay or somewhere online must do them, get some papier poudre- they're little bits of paper that you "blot" your skin with, that absorbs the oil and leaves a trace of powder, fantastic things and people at work were always stealing them!! Or...if you have a savers chemist near you, you can buy oil absorbing papers there for about 99p, they're not quite as good, but still do a good job!
