Question Re: P60 for mortgage application

Hi,
When i met with a mortgage advisor to discuss what i could lend i told him my salary but didn't mention i had recently had a pay rise.
When applying for a mortgage a lender could/will ask for my P60 for tax year 2010/11 which shows my old salary. Will i still be able to lend the amount based on my new salary or will my previous earnings from 2010/11 be taken into account.
I know they may also ask for wage slips but i just wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem
Thanks..
