Money off coupons

Just thought I'd tell everyone that you can spend Sainsbury's money off vouchers eg £3 off £30 shopping bill, in Tesco. Yes that's right you can use sainsburys coupons in Tesco

I have actually heard that Tesco's will take any voucher in there store, and convert it to money off, whether buying the goods or not.:rolleyes: :rotfl:

I believe that all big supermarkets accept manufacturers' coupons (no supermarket is specified on the coupon) even if you don't actually buy the particular product that the copuon is for, but as long as they sell it.

Most supermarkets limit the amount you can pay for in coupons within a single transaction - at ASDA for example up to 10% of the transaction value can be paid for in coupons.

I don't think however that ASDA accept coupons/vouchers from other supermarkets. They did run a test scheme for a limited period whereby they accepted Tesco/Sainsbury's vouchers such as 'spend £30 in a single transaction and get £5 off' in order to attract/retain customers.

Sorry, I'm mostly familiar with ASDA's policies as I've been working on their CSD for a long while.

The Asda I work at take x amount of an x shop but not clubcard ones lol
