lol it feels weird for someone to tell me they think i am good at managing money - I have lived in my overdraft for about 6 years and this is the first month i wont touch it at all ...
I have spent a lot of today on the phone to car insurance places (my current provider and also Admiral) and have decided to stick with my current one but add my other half to the policy too. It was only another £4 and i know it's expensive but I have only 4 months left to pay til renewal time according to them and if i change now I'll lose my NCB.
Soooo ... other half on the insurance now means that he can start practising driving again ... he was learning but we then started to see that as a luxury when the money saving got serious so it went out the window. But for £4 a month I think I can attempt to restrain myself from killing him as he takes me for a spin!:cheesy: Nationwide Overdraft: [STRIKE]Mar: -£2300[/STRIKE] Oct: 0!!!

Oh my word, money-saving success today! Am at work and a big management meeting has just finished - they had lunch and ate practically none of it!
Email came round - free food in meeting room, help yourselves! Have plundered the place, got some unopened M&S sandwiches and quiche for myself today!
Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch ...
