Bar soap vs liquid soap?

I've never found a bar of soap of any make that didn't go soggy eventually, as I use it very frequently!! This is especially so in winter when the air is damp and cold, and so not conducive to drying the soap bar out quickly, between uses. My way of dealing with this situation is to rotate two bars of soap, one in use and one drying out.
I don't use liquid soap or shower gel, and wouldn't, especially after reading this today....

Could I recommend (if you go to the doctor about this or not, they can be bought from Boots or prescribed!) these washing products for dry skin conditions - Cetraben cream, Dermol shower emollient - this also has a mild antibacterial ingredient in it - , Epaderm ointment (this is really excellent). You shouldn't use any sort of soap on dry skin, it makes it so much worse! Hope you feel better soon
None of these produce any foam, but don't let that put you off they still do cleanse you nicely but also moisturise!0 -
Sorry, I seem to be missing something here, how is using a bar of soap unhygienic???0
