CSA Problems...

I have had CSA issuses since April 2010...
My ex left me with my son back in Nov 2009, and I paid her weekly enough not to effect her benefits.
She then decided that she wanted to use the CSA, as she could not trust me to make payments. Since the case was raised in April 2010, I have issues with them.
Once I had a schedule which took 3 months to sort out, I opted to pay by direct debit. Since April 2010, they have yet to take a direct debit payment and I have to ring them each month to make a card payment.
I have filled in 3 online complaints and have rang each month to sort this out.
I have now moved in with my new partner and her two kids, I let the CSA know this on August 25th, they have not amended my schedule.
What more can I do, I don't want to go down the DOE route, I just want to pay the correct amount each month.

If your ex left you with your son, why are you paying her CSA, or trying, should she not pay you if you have the child?!?0 -

Why couldn't she trust you to make payments???
We pay by DD and have not had a problem, each time we have rang to make ammendments/notify of changes they have been done quite quickly...( think they look at the case and think oh no not them again after 14years!! )
Write to them and send recorded delivery reiterating everything you have told them etc.,....also ring and ask to speak to the Finance department...we get more joy speaking directly to them.0 -
We have the exact same problem with the CSA and direct debit payments.
I get so fed up of calling them up every month to make a card payment. Thankfully last week I spoke to someone at the CSA who wasn't a complete and utter *****. He had the sense to see that we were willing to make payments but the CSA were unable to facilitate such payments. He agreed that we could set up a standing order - just waiting for them to send the details through.
They had originally asked if we wanted to set up a voluntary DOE - erm hell no!
Make sure you pay on time every month so that they can never accuse you of not being compliant and then ask them to allow you to set up a standing order.
As for the changes - make a written complaint if you haven't already (sorry can't remember if the complaints you've made so far have just been about the DD). If that doesn't work try and involve your MP. That's what a lot of people seem to do and they get a positive result.0 -
Mmmmm can read the meaning behind that one
Yes Definetly put it all in writing and send it recorded delivery!!
You read what you want to it, but as I have spent the last 18+ months fighting for access.. I can just say she is awkward and leave it there.Frustrated in Shropshire....0
