Hi all
Pretty self explanatory post..I'm gonna buy a wireless printer so i can attempt to do our invites/stationary ourselves...am i better off with an inkjet or a laser?
Once the wedding is over, we'd probably only use it for occasional printing and for photographs if that makes a difference?
many thanks as always clever people

hello, we recently bought the above printer and it is fab, so good we told fil about it and he bought one too. The picture quality is amazing, and normal print quality is good. Best of all its in the sale :money:. hthCross Stitch Cafe Member No: 86 :j0 -
A few things to think about:
* do you need colour or B&W?
* what stationery are you going to be printing on? We did ours with an inkjet and it really didn't like stationery with holes in (ours had windows for a photo).
the most important thing to consider with these printers, though, is how good they are at taking up different types of stationery. We had to load our envelopes in one at a time, etc - could have saved hours if the printers would have picked them up easier. I'd look for one that mentions envelope printing etc explicitly.0 -
Stationary - means not moving
Stationery - paper, card, writing implements etc
Sorry, that's a pet hate of mine!
Are you going to be printing onto card? Some laser printers wont take up a piece of card much thicker than a piece of paper
It's best to work out what you want printing, taking it on a portable drive or cd into a shop and asking for some samples out of the printers. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0
