Hi,

My OH is an existing Barclays / Woolwich customer and has applied and been approved for a Barclays Mortgage Reserve facility.

We are waiting for the paperwork, however, does anyone know if a solicitor is likely to be needed

As long as this is simply increasing an existing Barclays/Woolwich mortgage, no. If there's any other change taking place, like a transfer of equity with someone being added to, or removed from the mortgage, then yes.
