Hi There
I am looking to find out if you can get Joint MPPI. My financial adviser has done a quote with Aviva for Joint MPPI, but all the comparison websites only show a single person MPPI.
Is there any way of doing a joint MPPI quotes online?
Thanks
Richard

yes you can.but all the comparison websites only show a single person MPPI.
That's because comparison sites tend to focus on the bottom end of the market offering only budget plans with limited options, features and coverage.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Joint cover involves splitting the benefit according to the proportions of how your incomes split. That's why it's better know as split cover.
ie - if applicant one earns £20k and applicant 2 earns £10k, in the event of a claim by applicant 1, 2/3 of the benefit will be paid, while a claim by applicant 2 would see a payment of 1/3.
Split cover costs the same as single cover. Alternatively, you could take two policies for 100% of the benefit each. That would double the premium.I am a mortgage broker. No idea. I use the sites run by the firms I use for the cover so I have no need of customer-friendly quotation facilities.I am a mortgage broker. You will have to ask the comparison site you are using. Remember not to go by price only. These plans have differences and some of the budget ones are not worth the money being paid for them. Saving a few pennies on premium can make you feel happy until you have to make a claim. Then it can cost you many pounds.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
