Failed Interview, ask for feedback?

I had a group session last Tuesday with Argos. Went really well, no real issue's. I had a call within a couple of hours asking me to come along for a one to one interview on Friday.

To be honest I thought I had nailed it. I was told their was eight position's and only eight up for interview and to relax. After each question the interviewer would smile and nod and look over to her assistant and do the same. Even at the end of the interview we chatted about day to day issues, family's etc.

I was told I would recieve a call at noon the next day if successful , she gave a a reassuring smile at that point and said to relax.

Sadly the call never came , I can't put my finger on where I might have made a blunder. Is it appropriate to call and ask for feedback or a little cheeky?

it's been almost a week so you might as well call and ask for feedback.
  • You havent gotten the job and so really theres nothing much worse that can happen. It does seem to be a growing trend for companies to simply say nothing rather than decline someone or give feedback.

I would give them a call.
