Just wondering if anyone knows why Tesco have stopped stocking Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter (not spreadable) Can't see it online or in any of the stores I've been to recently. Thanks.

Sainsbury's and Waitrose are currently selling Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter (250g) for £1.40. ASDA also have it though they are charging £1.74.
Haven't seen any offers though.0 -
Keep an eye out in Sainsburys - mine had kerrygold on sale for 70p.
I'm not sure if that meant they were going to stop stocking it?0 -
Could that be store specifc I wonder? I know Tesco and ASDA do this now and again.0

Possibly discontinued by them.
According to mysupermarket it was on offer for a while at 47p or something like that. I've not seen it in Tesco since.
A similar thing happened with Country life butter at Asda. Reduced to 50p. Never seen again!0 -
It may have been - it was reduced, not 'on offer' as such.Lugh_Chronain wrote: »Could that be store specifc I wonder? I know Tesco and ASDA do this now and again.0 -

Odd, as every other store appears to be selling it though you could be right. The last offer Tesco had was about a month ago, they were selling this for 48p for 250g. It was in store though.0 -
Be interested to know as they're not showing up on mysupermarket website even when I change my postcode to another part of the country.Lugh_Chronain wrote: »Odd, as every other store appears to be selling it though you could be right. I can't find Kerrygold on Tesco's website, or Country Life on Asda's either.0 -
No, your right, Tesco haven't sold Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter for a while. I did check mySupermarket as well and noticed the same though I wonder if this particular type is being discontinued, or is it just Tesco that doesn't sell it.0

Have you tried asking a member of the customer service staff at your local store, they should know (or be able to find out) why they don't currently have it in stock & whether or not it is likely to reappear in the future.0
