Has anyone else noticed that heinz ravioli taste has changed ?
The sauce is thicker and darker in colour and also tastes foul
We've had 3 tins tasting this bad so far

I find this with a lot of things - new & improved recipe always means it tastes worse and I stop buying it! Why can't they just leave things alone!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

threemuttleys - complain to heinz about it
you might get something nice in the post from them

I agree with you! I also find that their spaghetti hoops are vile now too, and their spaghetti bolognaise. I think it is because they are reducing the salt to meat gov. targets and putting other stuff in to compensate. I used to LOVE Heinz ravioli - had it on toast every now and then, but not any more!Jane

Have you tried any other brands?
Not sure about the likes of Aldi though Lidl's Tinned Coquette Ravioli Bolognese, 800g, if it must be a tin and ravioli... then this will do at a push.
Must say, I'm not keen on tinned ravioli though. Think I prefer something along the lines of cannelloni to be honest.0 -
I tried some Oaktree Ridge (?) ravioli last night. My OH likes it a lot but I thought the sauce was a bit too runny and not tomatoey/heinz enough, bit too sweet for me and the meat didnt taste the same either0

Aldi ravioli is really nice if you like the tinned stuff - I even eat the odd tin of it myself if pushed for time, bit of parmesan on top and its even better! I buy it because my grandkids dont like the Heinz one - even before they changed it! in fact they prefer the Aldi sausage and beans too (its become quite a game to me to see how many sausages they put in the tin - minimum of eight but often its nine and one week I found ten in there!0 -
I had some the other week - thought it wasn't the same. Good to know its not just me then! Wont be having it again!!At least the fish fingers are still frozen, that's what I keep telling myself (Truly Madly Deeply)0
