Buying in bulk

I mean seriously in bulk.

I love dark Toblerone, which is often impossible to get hold of (unless relatives are going through airports). I was thinking that if I could buy a whole box of it, it would last me a year, easily (I don't eat much, I just love it) and would save money on the individual bars.

But where do I go? Any thoughts?

Edited to add: I'm trying to beat Tesco's price of £7.50/kilo.

That works out as 1.5 times the price of the ones in my local Tesco.

I mean 'bulk' compared to the average person, not the average shop.

Price per kilo, regardless of size.

How was that rude? I'm considering price per kilo, not whether they're big bars or small bars. Seems only sensible to me.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've already tried Amazon and Google.
  • why not buy them from Tesco if that's the cheapest place to get them?

    it's on offer 2 x 400g for £6 at the moment

Um. Lack of thanks button use when someone has given you their time, replying like you did when they checked the size, not to.mention the 'thanks, I guess' you then grudgingly gave afterwards.

Could you please change the title to reflect you wish for advice on bulk buying toblerone, frustrating for.mobile users to discover this is not a general discussion of.bulk buying. Thanks.

Sainsbury's have the same offer as well, works out as 75p/100g.

Try ASDA as they have 400g bars for £2 (50p/100g).

If you like white chocolate then try Poundland as they are currently selling 170g bars.

Really? Not disbelieving you, just that's a very good price! I'll check it out, thank you. (Not ignoring your point about Poundland but white chocolate is the devil's work.)

Crumblepie - it was seeing them in Tesco that made me wonder whether I could do better than their price by buying in larger quantities. But yes, if need be I'll stick with them.

Itsallinthemind - this could be a general discussion about buying in bulk. I asked because I wondered where people go to buy in bulk other than the supermarkets. Having looked on the internet and not found anything, I didn't know where to go. I'm sorry the title upset you.
