Hmm, with stretch marks I fear it's just a case of waiting for them to fade..

It'll be interesting to see if anyone has found a product that does get rid of them, though. I know someone for example who used BioOil during and after pregnancy and apparently it didn't do a lot!0 -

I've used Bio Oli on scar tissue (after a minor op on my ankle) and it definitely does help it to fade and get smoother but it's not a miracle cure. You need to use it regularly (1/2 times a day) and it smells really nice!;)0

Palmers Cocoa Butter does wonders. It fades them quite well, but you have to keep up with using it 1/2 times a day.Started comping 19/8/2011
Hoping for some nice wins :j

IMO its not the creams or lotions or potions you apply that makes them fade faster, its the action of massaging and rubbing the skin which brings on a circulation boost and aids blood flow. This is what helps with the skin repair.
The rest is just about keeping the area supple (so oils and creams rather then rubbing in dry salts or powders!) and to keep the skin healthy products which have glycerin (helps to draw in water) vitamins A,E and C (which skin seems to appreciate) and things that sink in well (theres no point applying a cream or oil which sits on the surface and you don't like applying or don't apply for very long or frequently enough).
Circular motions rather then rubbing up and down, small circles just because it seems to help with absorbtion and circulation and is a whole lot easier to do! Massage by someone else (professional or otherwise) is always an option.
Have fun looking for a cream which suits you, everyone is different and will have different things they like, creams and body care are all luxuries which are not essential to your life, if your going to spend money on them make sure its money well spent by getting something you enjoy the scent of or like to apply, there are so many brands out there.0
