I wanna buy - those elastic straps for holding sheets onto beds

You know the ones that look a bit like braces - you clip them to the flat sheet underneath the mattress and it effectively turns it into a fitted sheet.
They seem to be one of those things you can find everywhere - that is until you actually want to buy them, lol
And before anyone says buy a fitted sheet
- it's for a specialised size of mattress (hospital type 'bendy' bed), and fitteds won't fit.

Thanks - they are the sort of things I was looking for. I have seen some with longer straps, so they go across the mattress, rather than just the corners, but these should hopefully tide us over while I keep looking.
Think I'll try and find a local agent though, rather than pay the delivery if at all possible

use two of these with a piece of cloth between them ( a handkerchief should do). to make up the space.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
