Sugar question

I want to make a coconut loaf cake but the recipie ask's for demerara sugar which I don't have I have got caster, granulated and soft brown, would it be o.k. to use one of these instead and if so which one

    I'd definitely use the soft brown too.

    ive never completely swapped one sugar for another in a recipie, but when ive been a few grams short, ive topped up the right sugar with another without any problems. glad youre cake turned out ok!
