Looks like a good price op. Has anyone got one of these, I am wondering if the telescope is suitable for a 14 yo boy. Obviously for the price I am not expecting a professional telescope, but think he might not appreciate it if it is a "toy". thanks, Sal x0

To be honest the telescope is pretty useless, even for viewing the moon it will move out of view very quickly. With the plastic lenses in these the image quality will be very poor. Cheap telescopes are really not worth the money.
If he really is interested in astronomy you'd be much better with one of the bresser telescopes that aldi do on special every now and again for about £70 to £80. If this is to expensive then a pair of binoculars would be much better, Aldi again do a great pair of bresser binoculars on special every now and again for around £10. The image through these would be far supirior than the telescope and much easier to use. Its amazing just how much you can see though a pair of binoculars!0
